Powder coating plant

Powder coating systems are used to coat an electrically conductive workpiece (steel, aluminium, etc.) with powder paint. The workpiece to be coated must be thoroughly cleaned before the paint is applied so that good adhesion is possible. The powder paint, which is available in almost all RAL colours, is electrostatically charged and applied to the workpiece using powder guns. The paint is then baked onto the surface of the workpiece at a temperature of approx. 150°C - 200°C.
