Submerged arc welding machine

The submerged arc welding plant, also called submerged arc welding plant, is used in steel construction and metal construction for welding from a material thickness of 4 mm. In this arc welding process, the molten material liquefied by the arc is protected against the ambient atmosphere by a powder. The welding area is protected by the slag produced from the powder. With this welding process, very high welding performances can be achieved at low cost. Submerged arc welding is mainly used in automated welding systems, as the performance advantage of submerged arc welding can only be fully exploited with longer weld seams.
