Unfortunately for all of us, the past year 2020 was marked by the strenuous Corona situation.
Many companies and their employees had to provide extraordinary services and some had to experience unusual hardships.
Despite an initially quite promising order situation for many steel construction companies, the first lock-down became a caesura. A fast and flexible reaction was required and many of our customers faced this demanding task with creativity and diligence. For the manufacturers of tools and new machines, the sudden restriction of free travel and the cancellation of trade fairs were a special challenge, which, however, all steel construction machine manufacturers known to us mastered. The trade in used structural steel machinery was also affected by the more difficult general conditions. Here we were helped by our existing good cooperation with new machinery manufacturers and the continuing trust of our customers.
Thanks to the expansion of our warehouse capacities in Cologne and Kirchen (Siegerland), the opening of our southern German sales office in Langenargen on Lake Constance and the intensive expansion of our internet presence, we are now starting the coming year 2021 in a strong and optimistic position.
