Description of Becky SMART 6.20 HD

The Becky Smart plasma cutting system type 6.20 HD is a plasma cutter in gantry design.

The Becky Smart 6.20 HD with a Hypertherm HPR 130 plasma cutting source is perfectly suited for plasma cutting of sheet metal thicknesses up to 25 mm and sheet sizes of 2000 mm x 6000 mm.
The Y-axis movable plasma cutting unit with the Hypertherm plasma torch is mounted on a solid gantry bridge. The portal bridge and the plasma cutting head are precisely guided to the programmed cutting position by a prism guide with rack and pinion measuring system. To achieve a very compact design, the gantry guide rails are attached directly to the cutting table. The Becky cutting table is both a support surface for the plates and a collection tray for the cutting slag and cutting fumes. A CNC control system with Libellula software, optimized by Becky for plasma cutting, ensures easy programming of the cutting system.
