Cuoghi APE 40

The COUGHI APE 40 drill grinding machine is suitable for drill grinding of HSS coolant channel drills and other HSS drilling tools in steel construction, metal construction and the steel trade.

The Cuoghi APE 40 is designed and manufactured in different sizes and types by the leading tool grinding machine manufacturer Cuoghi from Italy. The APE 40 is a semi-automatic drill grinding machine as used in steel construction and in the steel trade for HSS drill grinding on drill lines.

The machine is designed for drills with diameters from 2 mm to 40 mm and tip angles from 40° to 180°. The steel construction flat grinding 170° with centre point used on drilling rigs can thus be ground quickly and precisely with this grinding machine.

A component of the drill grinding machine is a 30 l coolant / lubricant tank. According to the manufacturer's instructions, 1.5 - 2% synthetic or semi-synthetic oil is added to the water. A halogen lamp is mounted for optimal illumination of the working area. The machine is pre-equipped for a pointing device. A sanding unit for pointing out is available as an option.
