Peddinghaus FDB600

The Peddinghaus FDB 600/3S from the Peddimat product range is a high-performance drilling and flame-cutting machine that has been specially designed for processing sheet metal, steel plates and flat steel. It is characterized by its ease of operation and programmability.

This flame drilling machine can be used to process steel sheets with a width of 80 mm to 600 mm, a thickness of 6 mm to 50 mm and a standard length of up to 6000 mm. Longer flat steels can be processed using the roller feed system, depending on the material weight; however, individual consultation is required here.

The drilling device comprises three drilling spindles, which are designed for use with HSS coolant drills in the diameter range from 8 mm to a maximum of 40 mm (the Nenok HSS coolant drills with flat grinding and the Nencool cooling lubricant are particularly suitable for this). Depending on the drill diameter selected, one of the spindles is used, with each spindle operating at a specific speed.

An oxy-fuel flame cutting unit is responsible for cutting sheet metal and flat material. The flame cutting unit is operated with the gases acetylene and oxygen. It is also possible to change the cutting gas to propane after a conversion with a different torch and other media feeds.

The material (sheet transport) is transported via a roller measuring feed, which also measures the exact position of the steel sheet.

The system is controlled by a Fagor 8055i CNC controller in combination with user-friendly software. CAD data can be imported in DSTV or DXF format. The software license for suitable programming software must be purchased separately.

A filter system for cutting fume extraction is also available.
