Ficep Tipo G31 LG Sheet Metal Processing Center

The FICEP Tipo G31 LG sheet metal processing center is suitable for processing steel sheets and flat steel in the steel construction, steel trading, and plant engineering industries.

Ficep Tipo G Series

The Ficep Tipo G series features a rigid double-bridge design in which the two high-performance drilling units are stably guided. With its exceptional structural rigidity, the welded bridge frame is ideally suited for machining tasks such as carbide drilling, milling, oxy-fuel cutting, and plasma cutting.

Ficep Tipo G31 LG Specifications

The used Ficep Tipo G31 LG can, in a single setup, drill, center-punch, tap, countersinking, marking, milling, oxy-fuel cutting, and plasma cutting. This modern CNC-controlled flat steel machining center is equipped with two powerful 26 kW drilling units and a state-of-the-art Hypertherm XPR 400 plasma cutting unit.

The Ficep Tipo G31 system is designed for sheet sizes of:
sheet widths ranging from a minimum of 200 mm to a maximum of 3,100 mm
sheet lengths ranging from a minimum of 2,500 mm to a maximum of 14,000 mm

Ficep Drilling Units (2 units)

Each of the two drilling units is equipped with a 24-position tool changer for quick tool changes. The SK 40 tool holders ensure optimal guidance of the carbide tools. The 26-kW drilling units are designed for high torque and a speed of up to 6,000 rpm. The tools used include modern carbide tools such as Nenok solid carbide drills, KSEM drills, Nenok milling cutters, Nenok Multiplex indexable insert tools, as well as HSS cooling channel drills with diameters ranging from 10 mm to 40 mm.

Hypertherm HPR 400 XD Plasma Cutting System

The state-of-the-art Hypertherm HPR 400 XD cutting system enables a clean cut through material thicknesses ranging from 6 mm to 50 mm; its piercing capacity exceeds 50 mm, and its cutting capacity is up to 80 mm. Furthermore, the Hypertherm HPR 400 XD plasma cutting source is characterized by its reliability and the high availability of wear parts.

Clamping of Sheet Metal Panels

Multiple hydraulic clamping devices travel along robust prismatic guide rails, moving the heavy sheet metal plates or flat steel along a roller conveyor to the processing position of the drilling unit, the marking unit, or the thermal cutting unit.

Marking of Components

The finished components can be marked using marking milling (also known as scribing). This enables the subsequent identification of the components and the marking of the welding position.

Material Unloading and Chip Conveyance

To maintain a high degree of automation, a folding table integrated into the outlet roller conveyor ensures that the finished components are transferred to the chain conveyor after the flame-cutting process. Another chain conveyor positioned on the opposite side removes the drilling and milling chips. After the drilling and milling process, a roller brush system cleans the sheets prior to the cutting process.

CNC Control and Software

The system is programmed using the modern Fanuc CNC control system and Mitrol software, which is designed for sheet metal processing.

The Ficep Tipo G31 LG sheet metal processing center has few operating hours and is in very good condition. The system is available for immediate delivery from the Nenok used machinery warehouse in Cologne.

The system requires a suitable filter unit, which can be offered separately as an option.
