Gullco KBM 28

The Gullco KBM 28-100 heavy duty Plate Edge Beveling machine is ideal for the use in Steel construction jobs.
In contrast to many other machines, Gullco uses round cutting blades instead of indexable inserts for these chamfering devices. Thanks to the rotation of the cutting blade, the machine automatically guides itself along large sheets, although manual feeding of handheld sheets is also possible. The working speed is always 2 m/min, regardless of the amount of material being sheared. With its rotated cutting head, the machines can also chamfer sheets from below. No heat is introduced into the component during the shearing process, which avoids thermal overloading of the bevel edge, as is the case with plasma or oxy-fuel cutting. The slowly rotating cutting blade reduces noise and vibration to a minimum. All of these advantages reduce the cost of chamfering sheets and relieve the user. The automatic guidance of the machine by means of the rotating knife along the component gives the user the opportunity to do other work or to operate a second machine.
