The Behringer HBE 261 A Dynamic automatic band saw is a fully hydraulic, cost-effective, high-performance band saw designed for automated 90° cuts in industrial manufacturing.

This Behringer band saw is ideal for the safe, precise cutting of structural steel sections as well as difficult-to-machine solid metal materials and comparable solid plastics, in both manual and automatic modes.

The HBE 261 A Dynamic automatic band saw has a cutting range for round material from 10 mm to 260 mm and for flat material from 10 x 8 mm to 300 x 260 mm, with a saw blade size of 4.440 x 34 x 1.1 mm.
The frequency-controlled band saw drive has a drive power of 2.6 kW and a continuously variable cutting speed of 15–110 m/min. The cutting speed can be set and read on the control panel. The total drive power is approximately 3.7 kW. The machine features optional equipment such as a chip conveyor, central lubrication, a line laser, electronic monitoring of minimum speed, an LED panel light, a spray gun for chip removal, a cutting display with error diagnosis, and a roller conveyor system on the infeed and outfeed sides.

Sturdy cast-iron saw frame
Ensures long band service life and cutting accuracy, also due to the saw frame being angled by 1°.

Saw Band Guides
Combined roller and carbide slide guides for the saw band. Automatic adjustment of the movable band guide according to the cut length.

Saw Feed Control
The cutting pressure control increases cutting performance during sawing by automatically adjusting the machine’s saw feed to changing material cross-sections. Positioned at the saw blade pressure point, the system responds quickly and precisely.

Saw Blade Cleaning
Via a rotating chip brush, synchronized with the cutting speed. A quick-change mechanism allows for easy replacement of the brush.

Automatic Material Feed The robust feed gripper with a closed roller conveyor reliably and smoothly feeds solid material and pipes in fully automatic operation. Precise positioning is achieved via an electrically driven ball screw. The gripper’s movable clamping jaw covers the entire cutting area in a single stroke

NC Programming
Maximum input of 10 blocks with preselection of the cut length (adjustment accuracy of 0.01 mm), the number of pieces, and the feed-in length.

Automatic bar start detection
Start of automatic operation with detection of the bar start via a photoelectric sensor by inserting the bar into the feed gripper; positioning for the first cut occurs automatically.
