Behringer HBM 440 A – High-Performance Automatic Band Saw

The Behringer HBM 440 A high-performance band saw is a fully automatic straight-cut band saw designed for the economical, safe, and precise cutting of solid metal and comparable plastics. It is particularly well-suited for machining materials that are difficult to cut. The machine can be operated with both bimetal and carbide-tipped saw bands.

As an optional feature, the HBM 440 A is equipped with a 11 kW saw motor.

The automatic band saw offers a cutting range of up to 440 mm for round material and up to 440 x 440 mm for flat material. The band saw blade dimensions are 6,700 x 54 x 1.3 mm.
The frequency-controlled band saw drive, with a power output of 11 kW, enables a continuously variable cutting speed ranging from 15 to 150 m/min.

Band Saw Feed Control
Optional operation with constant feed rate or constant cutting force for optimal band saw blade life and precise cutting results. Both parameters are infinitely adjustable.
In addition, the feed rate is automatically adjusted to accommodate varying material cross-sections in pipes and profiles.

Band saw cleaning
Cleaning is performed by two rotating double brushes, each 100 mm in diameter, arranged on both sides. They are driven by a separate hydraulic motor. The brushes are automatically fed toward the band saw.
