Behringer HBP413 A

The Behringer HBP413A automatic band saw is an economical metal band saw for automated 90° saw cuts for industrial production.

The HBP413A automatic band saw has a cutting range for round material from 10 mm to 410 mm and for flat material from 10 x 8 mm to 500 x 400 mm with a saw blade dimension of 5,800 x 41 x 1.3 mm.
The frequency-controlled band saw blade drive has a drive power of 5.5 kW and an infinitely variable cutting speed of 20 - 140 m/min (66 - 459 ft/min). The cutting speed can be set and read on the control panel. The total drive power is approx. 7.5 kW. Special equipment chip conveyor, micro-dosing device and vertical bundle clamping device on the feed gripper and in the sawing area.

Reliable process control enables easy machine operation with clear menu navigation for setting up the band saw.

Sturdy cast iron saw frame

The low-torsion and low-vibration saw frame has a backlash-free pre-tensioned 4-fold guide. The two guide columns are ground and hard chrome-plated. The saw frame is inclined by 3° for optimized sawing of profiles.

Saw blade guides

Combined roller and pre-tensioned carbide sliding guide for the saw blade. Manual adjustment of the movable band guide according to the cutting width.

Saw blade tensioning

Hydraulic saw blade tensioning, electrically monitored with automatic pressure reduction when the machine is at a standstill. Automatic switch-off in the event of saw blade breakage and electronic monitoring of the minimum speed.

Saw feed control

Constant cutting feed when sawing solid material with overload protection, as well as constant cutting force when sawing pipes and profiles with automatic adjustment of the feed to the cutting width. This ensures optimum service life and precise cuts with maximum performance. The feed setting is infinitely variable using a scale. The cutting force is infinitely adjustable using symbols.

Saw frame adjustment

Fully automatic height adjustment of the saw frame according to the material height and rapid lowering in automatic mode to reduce idle time.

Saw blade cleaning

By means of a rotating chip brush with a diameter of 100 mm. The drive runs synchronously with the cutting speed. The brush is adjusted to the saw blade by means of an adjusting screw. A quick-change device enables the brushes to be changed easily and without tools.

Machine stand

Heavy, torsion-resistant machine stand in box construction with holders for chip and coolant containers, as well as the hydraulic system.

Material support

Workpiece feed in the machine via stable support rollers, approx. 800 mm long, roller gaps covered, can be extended with a roller conveyor system, ideally equipped with system guide rollers.

Material clamping vice

Hydraulic horizontal material clamping with infinitely adjustable clamping pressure. Cylinder stroke over the full cutting range. Hardened clamping jaws clamping on both sides of the saw band. Insert plates are arranged to avoid openings in the table support. These can be removed if necessary. For thin-walled pipes, it may be necessary to work with shaping jaws.

Additional equipment: Vertical hydraulic clamping block on the feed gripper for bundle cuts, vertical clamping block in the saw for additional fixing of the material.

Automatic material feed

Precise positioning of the feed carriage with electrically driven ball screw drive. Pendulum-mounted feed gripper for safe material transport, even with heavy solid material, with integrated automatic switch-off at the end of the material over a maximum length of 400 mm. The movable clamping jaw of the gripper moves over the entire cutting area in one stroke. The clamping pressure is infinitely adjustable together with the material gripper.

For safe and precise positioning, only bars and tubes that are straight (max. 0.002 x l), not twisted and burr-free are suitable.

Hydraulic system

The block-type hydraulic system is mounted on the machine stand for easy access.

Cooling system

The coolant is supplied to the interface via 2 adjustable nozzles. The coolant tank can be removed for easy cleaning. We are happy to offer the appropriate Nenok cooling lubricant.

• Input of max. 10 sets with preselection of the cut-off length to 0.01 mm setting accuracy, the number of pieces and the cutting length is possible.

• An automatic start without a gate or with a preselected gate length is also integrated by means of bar start detection with a light barrier. A bar with a diameter from 20 mm or flat material from 20 x 15 mm with sufficient initial length must be inserted into the feed gripper. For cut-off lengths with narrow tolerances, a cut is recommended and for larger bar weights, additional roller conveyors with driven support rollers are required.
