The Peddinghaus HS FDB-2500 is a CNC plate processing center for the precise and economical processing of steel plates. The machine combines drilling, tapping, countersinking, marking, oxyfuel cutting and plasma cutting in a fully automated system - ideal for modern steel construction, plant engineering and industrial production.

Maximum speed and precision

Equipped with a powerful 36 kW high-speed drilling spindle and an 8-position CNC tool changer, the HS FDB-2500 enables extremely short cycle times with high repeat accuracy. The integrated SMART spindle II technology with automatic tool length measurement increases process reliability and reliably protects tools from damage.

Automatic material detection & precise positioning

A key feature of the Peddinghaus HS FDB-2500 is the automatic detection of panel width and thickness using modern laser measuring systems. Workpiece tolerances are automatically compensated - for maximum dimensional accuracy. In conjunction with the Peddinghaus PEDDIMAT roller measuring feed, the material is positioned tension-free, precisely and without time-consuming re-clamping.

Efficient and clean processing

The standard MQL minimum quantity lubrication system ensures environmentally friendly cooling of the tools. No harmful vapors or residues are produced, making downstream processes such as welding, painting or coating possible without any problems.

Oxyfuel cutting and plasma cutting up to 75 mm

The Peddinhaus HS FDB 2500 is equipped with an oxyfuel flame cutting system and a Hypertherm HPR 260 XD HyPerformance plasma cutting system. This makes cutting steel plates up to 75 mm thick easy and efficient. This enables a high cutting speed, excellent cutting quality and maximum flexibility with different material thicknesses.

Powerful CNC control & software

The machine is controlled by the tried-and-tested Siemens Sinumerik 840Di, supplemented by the powerful Peddinghaus Peddimat software. This enables convenient programming, CAD imports (DSTV / DXF), automatic process optimization and integrated remote diagnostics to minimize downtimes.
