KNUTH KB 1400 Universal Bed Milling Machine

The KNUTH KB 1400 is a high-performance universal bed-type milling machine designed for demanding milling and drilling operations. Thanks to its sturdy machine construction with wide guides, the powerful 7.5-kW main drive, and the large clamping table, it is particularly well-suited for use in machine, plant, and tool manufacturing.

The heavy-duty vertical milling head can be swiveled by ±45°, and the quill can be manually moved by 105 mm. With a speed range of 18 to 1,800 rpm, the spindle speed can be flexibly adjusted to suit various machining tasks. The feeds of the X and Y axes are adjusted via a robust manual gearbox. Rapid traverse in all axes facilitates quick positioning and reduces non-productive time.

The spacious 1,400 x 400 mm worktable offers ample space for larger workpieces and clamping devices. The KNUTH X.Pos 3.2 3-axis digital position display assists the operator with precise positioning and machining. Among other features, the position display provides ABS/INC coordinates as well as numerous positioning and calculation functions.
