Used drilling machine for CNC-controlled drilling of sectional steel with roller measuring device for length measurement and profile positioning.

The used drilling machine has 3 drilling axes, each with a drilling spindle suitable for the use of HSS cooling channel drills in the diameter range from 8 mm to 27 mm. An infeed roller conveyor and outfeed roller conveyor are available as options depending on the required length.

The very compact Peddinghaus DSC 300 DRILL drilling machine is particularly suitable for companies with limited space and as an introduction to CNC production for small and medium-sized steel construction companies.

Design features of the Peddinghaus DSC 300 DRILL

The base frame consists of a stable plate construction. A vertical drilling unit with a drilling spindle and two horizontal drilling units, each with a drilling spindle and the feed cylinders, are attached to this base frame.
All drilling units are designed for a drilling diameter of 8 - 27 mm. Drill bits are changed manually using a quick-change chuck. The drilling units have an infinitely variable hydraulic drill feed with an automatic drilling system.
The drill spindles are designed with an internal coolant supply for the use of Nenok HSS coolant channel drills. The drilling machine also has automatic hold-down devices in the infeed and outfeed area as well as horizontal clamping cylinders for secure workpiece clamping during the drilling process. Center punching for marking positions is also possible with the drilling units.

The Siemens CNC control is connected as a two-station system with a built-in personal computer for programming. This makes the system suitable for workshop programming (directly at the machine).

The length measuring system for the X-axis

The length measuring system has two measuring disks that operate wear-free thanks to their hardened running surfaces. The measuring disks work independently of the feed and therefore only measure the actual carrier movement.

Software

The software offers operator guidance with extensive auxiliary functions: configurable system and machine data. User files for profiles, tools and hole patterns. Simple and reliable description of workpieces; optional graphical or numerical display of workpieces. Clear management of workpieces with many supporting functions. Data is transferred in DSTV or DXF format.
