Peddinghaus DSC 300 DRILL

Used Peddinghaus DSC300 DRILL drilling rig for CNC controlled drilling of profile steel with roller measuring device for length measurement or profile positioning.

The drilling machine has 3 drilling axes with one drilling spindle each suitable for the use of HSS inner coolant drills in the diameter range from 8 mm to 27 mm. An infeed roller path and outfeed roller path are available as an option depending on the required length.  

The very compact Peddinghaus drill line DSC 300 DRILL is particularly suitable for companies with little space and as an entry into CNC production for small and medium-sized steel construction companies. 

The DSC 300 DRILL rationalises drilling and center punching in your sectional steel processing. 

The machine is also economical for companies outside of direct steel construction that work with sectional steel and rectangular tubes.

Construction features of the Peddinghaus DSC 300 DRILL

The base frame consists of a stable plate construction. Attached to this base frame is a vertical drilling unit with a drilling spindle and two horizontal drilling units, each with a drilling spindle and the feed cylinders.
All drilling units are designed for a drilling diameter of 8 -27 mm. The drill bit is changed manually with a quick-change chuck. The drilling units have an infinitely variable hydraulic drill feed with automatic drilling.
The drilling spindles are designed with an internal coolant supply for the use of Nenok HSS coolant channel drills. Furthermore, the drilling machine has automatic hold-downs in the infeed and outfeed area as well as horizontal clamping cylinders for safe workpiece clamping during the drilling process. Center punching for marking positions is also possible with the drilling units. 

The Siemens CNC control is connected as a two-place system with a built-in personal computer for programming. This makes the system suitable for workshop programming (directly at the machine).

The length measuring system for the X-axis

The length measuring system has two measuring discs which work wear-free due to their hardened running surfaces. The measuring discs work independently of the feed and therefore only measure the actual beam movement.

Software

The software offers operator guidance with extensive auxiliary functions: configurable system and machine data. User files for profiles, tools and hole patterns. Simple and reliable description of workpieces; optional graphical or numerical display of workpieces. Clear management of workpieces with many supporting functions. Data transfer in DSTV or DXF format.
