The Remmert RKLT 5000 long goods storage tower is currently in use as a space-saving high-bay warehouse for sectional steel and bar steel next to a Kaltenbach KBS 750-KDM 615 drilling saw system and a Kaltenbach KKS 450H circular saw.
With this long goods storage system you get a fast and direct access to your profiles from 25 storage compartments very close to your production line. A Siemens Simatic S7 / VIPA control system is used to manage and select the removal compartment and to control the cross station with chain conveyor. The PRO WMS Professional warehouse management system is included in the system control.
The 25 piece cassettes are equipped with a (8 compartment) width division and have a payload of 50 kN each. The lifting speed of the stacker is 16 m/min.
