Description of Rösler RHBD 13/18 T

The Rösler RHBD 13/18 T continuous feed spinner hanger blast machine is designed as a continuous blast machine and is suitable for the economical cleaning, descaling and compacting of components which are transported by an overhead conveyor through a blast chamber.
The overhead conveyor blast machines type RHBD-T are designed for high throughput and large, solid parts.
These blast machines are used for blasting sensitive and partly heavy or large-volume workpieces. For surface treatment, the components are hung on suitable transport racks and driven through the blasting machine. In this plant the workpieces are suspended on cross beams of a manual overhead conveyor H 100 from the manufacturer M&N Fördersysteme. The drive motors of the overhead conveyor transport system and the turning and oscillating device are equipped with a slip hub to protect against overload. Due to the rotating and oscillating movement of the transport hangers, the abrasive accelerated by the Rösler high performance turbines can reach every corner of the workpiece in an optimal way.
The overhead conveyor blasting system consists of the blasting chamber with the laterally mounted blasting turbines, a blast media preparation system, a blast media transport system consisting of transport screws and a bucket elevator, a continuous system consisting of an overhead conveyor and an extraction and dust removal system. In this plant there is also a wet filter system. Besides the high flexibility this compact plant is characterized by a high reliability.
The number of turbines is determined by the desired processing targets and the required throughput speed.
The blasting chamber is completely lined with wear protection plates made of manganese steel and is additionally protected by replaceable manganese plates in particularly sensitive areas. These protection plates are hung in the roof tile principle and are not screwed. The position of the laterally arranged blasting turbines is optimal for cleaning the components. This ensures an optimal blasting result.
The tightness of the plant is a challenge, especially in the case of overhead conveyor blasting plants, because the vehicles of the transport system have to pass through the plant. Rösler developed a special seal for this purpose. It guarantees an excellent tightness of the system. All hooks, eyes or cross beams of the transport system are adapted to this seal.

Professional disassembly, minor reworking, transport and assembly including training can be offered as an option.
