Information about the manufacturer Behringer

The BEHRINGER Group is an internationally active family business with experience from more than 100 years of mechanical engineering.

The company BEHRINGER GmbH was founded in 1919 by August Behringer as a mechanical workshop. In 1952, the company invested in its own iron foundry at the Kirchardt site, which has been expanded several times to date. After the development of an own Behringer band saw in 1977 and the takeover of the circular saw specialist EISELE in 2000, BEHRINGER GmbH is one of the few complete suppliers on the market of sawing technology. Through constant investment in production, innovation and the expansion of the sales structure, the medium-sized family business has grown into a full-range supplier for the steel trade, steel construction and plant engineering. The company, now in its 3rd generation, places particular emphasis on solid technology, reliability and a high level of vertical integration. The product range is completed with the French sister company Vernet Behringer from Dijon as a manufacturer of drilling rigs, flame-cutting machines, notching machines, angle steel shears, punching machines and transport systems. In 2019, the Behringer Group celebrated its 100th anniversary with the presentation of new machine concepts in the fields of metal band saws, circular saws, drilling, milling, flame cutting and automation, as well as the inauguration of new building complexes. The company's own state-of-the-art iron foundry for gray and mock cast iron provides optimum support for the quality and flexibility of the high-performance production of machine components.

In October 2020, Behringer GmbH takes over the remaining shares of Vernet Behringer SA from Dijon France and now holds 100% of the company shares.

Thanks to the international production facilities, service and sales offices available in the Behringer Group, spare parts, tools and service are also available for machines that have been in use for some time.
