Behringer HBM440A

The Behringer HBM 440 A is one of the most powerful automatic band saws in its class and was developed for high cutting performance in industrial steel processing. It combines the flexibility of a band saw with the productivity of modern high-performance sawing technology and is particularly well-suited for the cost-effective machining of solid material, tubes, and profiles.
The robust machine design, featuring a low-vibration saw frame, precise gantry guidance, and band-guiding components made of gray cast iron, ensures precise cutting results and long tool life. The automatic adjustment of the saw feed rate to varying material cross-sections ensures high process reliability and optimal cutting performance, particularly when cutting sections and tubes.

For short cycle times and precise material positioning, the HBM 440 A is equipped with a servo feed system using a ball screw. The high-performance band guide with heavy-duty cooling, along with the electrically driven duplex chip brush, supports low-wear and economical operation even when using carbide saw bands.

Another advantage of the current HBM series is its readiness for comprehensive automation solutions. This allows the band saw system to be easily integrated into modern manufacturing and material flow concepts. The generously dimensioned chip conveyor area also ensures reliable chip removal even at high cutting rates.
