Model series Gemini from Ficep

The Ficep Gemini is a CNC-controlled sheet metal processing center in portal design. These sheet metal processing centers are designed for sheet metal and flat steel processing in steel construction and the steel trade. In this type of machine, the stable flame-cutting unit (the flame-cutting gantry) moves over the metal sheets or steel plates previously placed on the flame-cutting table. The Gemini is optionally equipped with various flame cutting units for oxy-fuel flame cutting and/or plasma flame cutting as well as one or two drilling units. A modern CNC control system and high-performance filter systems are also included in the scope of delivery.

Ficep G25SP

The Gemini G25SP is designed for sheet sizes of 2540 x 6100 mm (W x L). Depending on the scope of order, a plasma cutting unit for straight cuts or bevel cuts can be used. The maximum sheet thickness is 80 mm. In addition, up to 3 oxyfuel cutting units can be used. The maximum plate thickness for oxy-fuel cutting is 100 mm. A powerful drilling unit with 15 kW output and a maximum spindle speed of 7000 rpm is used for drilling, milling, thread cutting and countersinking. The maximum drilling diameter is 40 mm with a maximum drilling depth of 80 mm. Depending on the year of construction, larger holes can be milled as an option. A 6-slot (optionally also up to 24-slot) tool changer ensures a quick tool change.

The Gemini G32SP is designed for sheet sizes of 3100 x 6100 mm (W x L). Depending on the scope of the order, a plasma cutting unit for straight cuts or bevel cuts can be used. The maximum sheet thickness is 80 mm. In addition, up to 3 oxyfuel cutting units can be used. The maximum plate thickness for oxy-fuel cutting is 100 mm. A powerful drilling unit with 15 kW output and a maximum spindle speed of 7000 rpm is used for drilling, milling, thread cutting and countersinking. The maximum drilling diameter is 40 mm with a maximum drilling depth of 80 mm. Depending on the year of construction, larger holes can be milled as an option.
