Model series Tipo B from Ficep

The Ficep Tipo B processing centers are CNC-controlled punching, drilling and flame-cutting machines designed for automatic sheet metal processing and flat steel processing up to a sheet thickness of 100 mm. To enable hole punching with the Tipo B and a 1000 kN punching force, the machine design is also optimized for this process. Hole punching is possible up to a maximum diameter of 32 mm and a material thickness of 25 mm. The sheet metal processing tasks often required in steel construction and the steel trade are carried out automatically in just one work sequence. The Tipo B is equipped with a Mitrol CNC control and the corresponding software in which the process data for punching, drilling, countersinking, thread cutting, marking, oxyfuel cutting, plasma cutting and scribing are processed. In more recent systems, a high-performance drilling unit is designed for milling with a high torque and high spindle speeds. In these sheet metal processing models, the sheet or flat steel is guided to the processing station via a roller conveyor using one or two racks. In order to achieve high positioning accuracy and repeatability, the grippers are guided via a solid guide carriage construction with toothed rack. The length measuring system consists of a special toothed pinion which records the exact material position via a rotary encoder and compares it with the CNC control. With young Ficep Tipo B sheet metal processing machines, it is possible to connect online to the Mitrol CNC control for online remote diagnosis. If the Internet connection is available, this enables error analysis directly with the Ficep service departments.

Ficep Tipo B164

The Tipo B164 is designed for sheet sizes of 1,600 mm x 3,000 mm and a material thickness of max. 100 mm. The sheet metal processing center is equipped with a punching unit and a 4-station tool changer for the punching tools, as well as a drilling unit and tool changer for 6 tools. Depending on the material thickness, either one or two oxyfuel cutting units or plasma cutting units are used for thermal cutting. An extraction and filter unit ensures clean working conditions.

The Tipo B251 is designed for sheet sizes of 2,540 mm x 6,000 mm and a maximum material thickness of 100 mm. The sheet metal processing center is equipped with a 1000 kN hydraulic punching unit and a tool changer for the punching tools, as well as a powerful drilling unit and an automatic six-fold tool changer. Depending on the material thickness, either an oxyfuel cutting unit or a plasma cutting unit is used for thermal cutting. An extraction and filter unit ensures clean working conditions.

The Tipo B254 is designed for sheet sizes of 2,540 mm x 6,000 mm and a maximum material thickness of 100 mm. The sheet metal processing center is equipped with a 1000 kN hydraulic punching unit and a tool changer for the punching tools, as well as a powerful drilling unit and an automatic six-fold tool changer. Depending on the material thickness, either an oxyfuel cutting unit or a plasma cutting unit is used for thermal cutting. With young Tipo B systems, milling is also possible thanks to a very powerful drilling unit.
