The Kaltenbach KBS bandsaw machines are designed for fast, precise and convenient sawing of steel profiles. These horizontal bandsaws are all equipped with a mitre device and are therefore particularly suitable for processing steel profiles in steel construction and the steel trade. The abbreviation DG in the product name stands for double mitre device and NA for automatic feed. The Kaltenbach Proficut software package is used for easy programming of the band saws.

Kaltenbach KBS 1051 DG

The Kaltenbach KBS 1051 DG (new name Kaltenbach KBP 1001) mitre bandsaw is a fast high-performance bandsaw for the economical sawing of steel profiles. The KBS 1051 DG has a double mitre adjustment. This band saw is suitable for use with both bi-metal and carbide saw bands. For good cutting quality and high cutting performance, we recommend the use of Röntgen or Arntz high-performance band saw blades. The AFC (Auto Feed Control) enables a variable saw blade inclination of 3 - 10° and thus reduces the cutting times. The precise electromechanical saw feed takes place via a ball screw driven by a servo motor.
