The Kaltenbach KBS mitre bandsaws are designed for fast, precise and convenient sawing of steel profiles. The KBS series is a long-established, reliable mitre bandsaw with a comprehensive range of basic features. These KBS horizontal bandsaws are all equipped with a mitre device for swivelling left/right mitre cuts and are therefore particularly suitable for processing steel profiles in steel construction and the steel trade. The product designation with the abbreviation DG stands for double mitre device and NA for automatic feed. The Kaltenbach Proficut software package is used for easy programming of the band saws. Kaltenbach mitre bandsaws are used as stand-alone machines with their own length measuring system and control unit or in combination with a Kaltenbach drilling system.

The Kaltenbach KBS 761 DG (new designation: Kaltenbach KBP 701) is a fast high-performance bandsaw for the economical sawing of steel profiles. The KBS 761 DG mitre bandsaw has an NC-controlled double mitre adjustment for left/right mitre cuts. The sawing system is specially designed for high cutting performance and low maintenance. The other advantages are Automatic inclination angle adjustment of the saw blade for heavy products, theSaw feed is constant and temperature-independent with ball screw and servo motor, self-adjusting chip brush, saw drive suitable for the use of carbide saw bands, Auto Feed Control automatically adjusts the angle of inclination of the saw blade to the profile to be sawn, reduced effort when changing the saw band by moving to the band saw position, the band saw is controlled via the Kaltenbach Proficut software and is operated via a touch control panel, self-adjusting profile clamping incl. cross-section measurement as standard, automatic adjustment of the saw band for heavy products. The KBS 851 from Kaltenbach is a powerful double mitre bandsaw for precise and efficient cuts in steel profiles, pipes and solid material. The large double column guide with inclined saw blade enables a large swivel range. NC-controlled cutting angle adjustment, gentle material transport by lowering the saw during material transport, electro-hydraulic cutting pressure control of the two saw blade guides, infinitely variable cutting speed and feed adjustment, self-adjusting carbide-tipped saw blade guide, vibration-optimized bearing of the saw blade drive pulleys, it is the perfect solution for demanding applications in the steel trade and steel construction. The band saw is usually equipped with a length measuring carriage and a transport system.

Kaltenbach KBS 1051 DG

The Kaltenbach KBS 1051 DG (new name Kaltenbach KBP 1001) mitre bandsaw is a fast high-performance bandsaw for the economical sawing of steel profiles. The KBS 1051 DG has a double mitre adjustment. This band saw is suitable for use with both bi-metal and carbide saw bands. For good cutting quality and high cutting performance, we recommend the use of Röntgen or Arntz high-performance band saw blades. The AFC (Auto Feed Control) enables a variable saw blade inclination of 3 - 10° and thus reduces the cutting times. The precise electromechanical saw feed takes place via a ball screw driven by a servo motor.
