The Kaltenbach KDL 1318 is a high-performance drilling machine for heavy steel profiles from a minimum of 60 x 10 mm to a maximum of 1300 x 500 mm, with 2 horizontal drilling units and a vertical drilling unit and 3 automatic tool changers, each with 6 tool holders, suitable for drilling, contour marking, center punching, countersinking and thread cutting. Depending on the software version and tool equipment, this drilling machine can also perform certain milling tasks. The powerful drilling units, each with 34.5 kW drive power, are suitable for use with HSS drilling tools and carbide drilling tools. Can be combined with a KBS band saw or HDM circular saw to form a saw-drill system.
