The Kaltenbach KF sheet metal processing center is a modern and economical system for the automatic processing of sheet metal and flat steel. Its versatility makes it the ideal system for the production of top plates, base plates, gusset plates, ribs and flanges. The KF series is therefore particularly suitable for use in steel construction, the steel trade, metal construction and plant engineering. The combination of several processing types such as drilling, thread cutting, countersinking, center punching, milling, milling marking, embossing marking, oxyfuel cutting and plasma cutting are the strengths of the sheet metal processing center. Depending on the year of manufacture, all or some of the above functions are included in the system. For more than 30 years, Kaltenbach KF sheet metal processing centers have been tried and tested, reliable production machines for tough use in the flat steel processing environment. These solid machines have been continuously further developed during their development phase and, depending on the year of manufacture, are equipped with an extensive range of special features. The new sheet metal processing centers are equipped with one or two processing units for oxy-fuel cutting and plasma cutting as well as one or two powerful drilling units with tool changer. The high drive power combined with high spindle speeds enables the use of carbide tools for drilling, milling and marking.
