The roots of the company lie in porcelain processing until 1974, when the production branch of abrasives was established and the development and manufacture of vibratory finishing equipment and compounds began. After only a few years, vibratory finishing technology developed into a successful business division of the Rösler Group. In 1998, the company entered the field of shot blasting technology by acquiring Hunziker Industriestrahltechnik (Switzerland) and expanding the shot blasting technology at the Untermerzbach plant, including a development and test center. Rösler's range of blasting technology includes equipment for precise compressed air blasting as well as for blasting with highly efficient turbines.
