The Peddinghaus ABCM 1250 is a CNC controlled thermal cutting and coping machine with 3 oxyfuel burning units for simultaneous notching of profiles and square tubes in steel construction.

With 3 autogenous burning units, the profile beam flanges and the profile beam web can be cut out economically at the same time. This enables the user to achieve three times the working speed.

Miter cutting and weld bevel preparation on the upper and lower flanges is possible with this CNC controlled Peddinghaus ABCM. The machine is equipped with an automatic torch ignition device.

A roller measuring feed ensures optimum material feed and measurement of the profile beams in the plant. The transport rollers clamp the profiles and transport them to the position to be processed. Two additional measuring discs ensure measuring accuracy.

Peddinghaus ABCM 1250

The Peddinghaus ABCM-1250 beam coping machine is a CNC-controlled notching system. The CNC notching system has three flame-cutting units that enable two beam flanges to be cut precisely at the same time using oxyfuel gas. Sectional steel with a size of up to 1,270 mm can be cut or notched.

Operating costs are reduced to a minimum thanks to the simultaneous thinning of both flanges and the possibility of preparing the weld seam at the same time. Thanks to this option, time-consuming torch probing processes are no longer necessary, enabling fast cutting close to the flange.

The three oxyfuel gas torches of the ABCM 1250 beam coping machine from Peddinghaus can be used simultaneously in a single operation. In conjunction with automatic torch ignition devices, this makes the torch system very efficient. Tasks such as mitre cutting and weld bevel preparation on the upper and lower flanges can be reliably completed with the ABCM 1250. To prepare the weld bevel on the flanges in the best possible way, the torches can be tilted to the desired mitre angle as previously programmed. Multi-axis positioning allows the upper and lower flanges to be cut simultaneously.

A sophisticated roller measuring feed system ensures fast material positioning and high-precision profile measurement. This is a decisive advantage when it comes to ensuring quality and efficiency during flame cutting in production. The notching system is programmed on a CNC control system from either Siemens or Fagor in combination with suitable software from Peddinghaus.
Depending on availability, these used cutting machines are equipped with different material transport systems. These include roller conveyors for the infeed and outfeed area and, in some cases, cross drag systems.
