Donau Danumeric 440

The used Danumeric 440 high speed radial drilling machine is a flexible CNC controlled drilling machine which is perfectly suited for the numerous manual drilling tasks in steel construction, plant engineering and metal construction.

Due to the various application possibilities of this reliable Danumeric drilling machine many machining tasks like drilling, thread cutting and center punching can be solved easily. The Danumeric series convinces in practice by its special flexibility when used for individual tasks as well as for small series production. Due to a simple programming option, the operation of this high speed radial drilling machine for automatic or manual operation is also possible without special CNC knowledge. Therefore the used Danumeric 440 is a low-cost machine for drilling tasks of small and large components.
The machine has a drill head projection of 1050 mm. The drilling spindle has a SK40 tool holder. The maximum drilling capacity for steel is 40 mm, for cast iron it is possible to drill up to a diameter of 50 mm. The spindle speed is continuously adjustable from 15 - 2800 rpm.
The used Danumeric 440 high speed radial drilling machine can also do thread cutting. In steel the maximum size for thread cutting is M36, in cast iron it is M42.
The compact machine weighs about 3 tons and has a footprint of approx. (LxWxH) 2810 x 2020 x 3000 mm.
The column stroke of the W-axis is maximum 410 mm, the quill stroke of the Z-axis is maximum 200 mm. The drilling radius is between 540 and 1590 mm.
The clamping surface of the work table is 1800 x 600 mm.
The AC motor of the main spindle drive is frequency controlled and has a drive power of maximum 5.5 kW at a torque of maximum 250 Nm.
