FICEP Tipo G31 LG sheet metal working center is suitable for economical processing of steel sheets and flat steel in steel construction, steel trade and plant engineering.
Ficep Tipo G series
The Ficep Tipo G series consists of a rigid double bridge structure in which the two powerful drilling units are stably guided. The welded bridge frame, with its particular structural rigidity, is ideally designed for machining tasks such as carbide drilling, milling, oxyfuel cutting and plasma cutting.
Ficep Tipo G31 LG Performance
The used Ficep Tipo G25 LG is capable of drilling, center punching, tapping, counterboring, marking, milling, oxyfuel cutting and plasma cutting flat steel or sheet metal plates with a maximum plate width of 3,100 mm and a maximum plate length of 14,000 mm in a single setup. This modern CNC-controlled flat steel processing center is equipped with two powerful 26 kW drilling units and a state-of-the-art Hypertherm XPR 400 plasma cutting unit. The system is designed for plate sizes of plate width: minimum 200 mm, maximum 3,100 mm; plate length: minimum 2500 mm and maximum 14,000 mm.
Each of the two drilling units is equipped with a 24-slot tool changer for fast tool change. Due to the SK 40 tool holders, the tool guidance of the carbide tools is optimally designed. The 26 kW drilling units are designed with a high torque and a high speed of up to 6000 rpm. The tools used are modern carbide tools such as Nenok solid carbide drills, KSEM drills, Hartner milling tools, Nenok Multiplex interchangeable plate tools as well as HSS coolant channel drills in drill diameters from 10 mm to 40 mm.
Hypertherm HPR 400 XD plasma cutting system
The modern Hpyertherm HPR 400 XD cutting system enables a clean cut at material thicknesses from 6 mm to 50 mm, the piercing capacity is over 50 mm, the cut-off capacity is max. 80 mm. Furthermore, the Hypertherm HPR 400 XD plasma cutting source is characterized by its reliability and a high availability of wear parts.
For the extraction of the plasma and oxyfuel cutting gases, the system is equipped with a powerful extraction system with filter system.
Material clamping of the sheet plates
Multiple hydraulic clamping devices travel on robust prismatic guide rails and move the heavy sheet metal or flat steel via a roller conveyor to the processing position of the drilling unit, marking unit or thermal cutting unit.
Marking of the components
Marking of the finished components can be done by mark milling (also called scribing). This enables the subsequent assignment of the components and marking of the welding position.
Material unloading and chip transport
In order to maintain a high level of automation, a folding table integrated in the outfeed roller conveyor ensures that the finished components are discharged onto the chain conveyor after the flame cutting process. Another chain conveyor positioned on the opposite side ensures the removal of the drilling and milling chips. After the drilling-milling process, a roller brushing device ensures that the sheets are cleaned before the cutting process.
CNC control and software
The system is programmed using the modern Fanuc CNC control and Mitrol software designed for sheet metal processing.
