Voortman V600 drilling machine for profiles and flat steel with movable drilling unit.
CNC-controlled drilling unit movable in longitudinal direction, with automatic tool changer, vertical hydraulic hold-down device, web and flange height measurement, with automatic electronic stepless feed and speed control (constant monitoring), enabling optimum machining, adjustment by means of frequency-controlled spindle drive, tapping with special tools possible at an extra charge, attachment of center punching points is possible.
Robust, torsion-free frame for holding and guiding the drilling unit, which is mounted horizontally (Y-axis) on the cabin.
Either Nenok HSS cooling channel drills or carbide drills are used, which are cooled internally with an air/oil mixture.

X-axis for longitudinal positioning of the drill cabin (0-12,000 mm)
Y-axis for horizontal positioning of the drilling unit (0-450 mm)
Z-axis for vertical height adjustment of the drilling unit (0-1,000 mm)
