Voortman VB1050+V630

Voortman saw-drill line consisting of a VB1050 band saw and V630 drill line. This line is designed for separate sawing and drilling of profile steel up to a profile size of 1,000 mm and a profile length of 18,000 mm.
In the band saw, the profile length to be processed (X-axis) is positioned with a measuring carriage.
In the drilling line, the length measurement is carried out by the roller measuring feed. The material is hydraulically clamped horizontally by two drive rollers and two pressure rollers. The clamping pressure is automatically adjusted steplessly depending on the profile dimension.

The V630 drilling rig is equipped with 3 drilling spindles and 3 tool changers with 5 positions each. The drilling rig is designed for machining with Nenok HSS coolant channel drills up to diameter 40 mm and for Nenok carbide drills. The tool holder is SK 40.

- Cross conveyor system, chain drag in the infeed.
- Infeed roller conveyor
- Outfeed roller conveyor with measuring carriage for length measurement
- Cross conveyor system in the discharge area for transport to the V630 drilling rig

Both units VB 1050 and V 630 have their own control panel with a Voortman CNC Vacon 110
control including Voortman software
Drilling unit weighs approx. 12,000 kg, saw weighs approx. 7,000 kg.

Programming takes place either on the machine or via a data interface from the office. The programming and transfer of CAD data is done in DSTV or DXF format.
