Kaltenbach KBS 750 DG - KDM 615

The Kaltenbach KBS 750 DG - KDM 615 saw-drill line is a combination of a Kaltenbach KBS 750 DG horizontal bandsaw and a Kaltenbach KDM 615 beam drill line of an M 152 GG length measuring device and a T 13 transport system.

This powerful used Kaltenbach structural steel processing line for drilling and sawing is designed for profile sizes up to 600 mm and profile lengths up to 12,000 mm.

This saw drill line combination is therefore ideally suited for the economical sawing, drilling, mark milling, center punching, countersinking and thread cutting of profiles, square tubes and flat steel bars in medium-sized steel construction and steel trade.

Kaltenbach KBS 750 DG miter band saw machine.

The KBS750 DG is equipped with a bevel cutting device for double miter +60°/ -45° degrees and is suitable for sawing steel profiles. The saw band dimension of the KBS 750 DG is 6,990 x 41 x 1.3 mm, the saw band versions Bi-metal M2, Bi-metal M42, Bi-metal M51 can be used. The cutting speed is infinitely variable in a range of 15 - 100 m/min.

    At 90 degrees up to 750 x 500 mm
    At + 70 degrees up to 730 x 500 mm
    At - 70 degrees up to 710 x 500 mm
    At + 60 degrees up to 670 x 500 mm

Kaltenbach KDM 615 beam drill line (profile drilling machine)

The Kaltenbach KDM 615 drilling machine has 3 powerful drilling units, one vertical and two horizontal with a drive power of 20 kW each, servo controlled 60 kW. A 5-fold tool changer with SK 40 tool holders is available for each drilling axis and ensures a fast tool change. Contour marking is possible in 4 axes. The powerful drilling units are suitable for the use of carbide tools as well as HSS coolant channel drills. The tools are cooled by air cooling with an oil micro-dosing system.  The minimum quantity lubricant nencool Micro is used as cooling lubricant for the saw blade and drill cooling. The largest workpiece dimension of the drilling system is 600 x 500 mm, the smallest dimension is 50 x 5 mm. Drilling of special wide flange beams and welded double-T sections is possible. Machine weight is 8500 kg with dimensions of 4450 x 1700 x 3400 mm (LxWxH).

The 3 drilling units have spindle speed from 150 to 2500 rpm, drilling feed from 10 - 1500 mm/min, rapid feed and rapid return of max. 20.000 mm/min.

Kaltenbach M 152 GG length measuring device

This Kaltenbach saw-drill combination is equipped with a measuring carriage system for length measurement of the profile beams and the matching transport system. A stable clamp measuring carriage positions the material (profiles) to the processing position in the KDM drilling system and KBS bandsaw. Via the CNC control and the Kaltenbach software package PROFILINE 4, all functions and operations of the saw-drill line are controlled according to the dimensions previously programmed in DSTV or DXF format.

Kaltenbach T 13 material transport system

A solid transport system with light barrier protection ensures the material transport of sectional steel in the infeed and outfeed area. In addition, there are 4 crossfeeders (cross transfer tables) in the material infeed area and 6 crossfeeders in the outfeed area. The crossfeed systems are designed as chain drag systems.
